Does it hurt? - Of course, but if it was that bad people wouldn't keep coming back!

Do you do 'fine-line tattoos'? - 'Fine-line' isn't a style, it's the utilisation of smaller needle groupings to tattoo any design. Considering the amount tattoo ink 'spreads' over time, unless these pieces are of a sufficient size we generally recommend against them as they will be a blur in a few years. With that said everything is possible if you have realistic expectations.

Do you have social media? - We do but we are becoming increasingly wary of the way in which they are run. Messages are sometimes hidden or deleted altogether when using Instagram, not to mention the never ending popularity contest modern tattooing has turned into. We prefer to focus on our existing clients and gleaning word-of-mouth referrals through them instead of unrealistically editing our photos and effectively lying to gain new clients.

Can my friend come and watch? - No sorry, the studio has no waiting room and is only insured for the people getting tattooed.

Can I use numbing cream? - You can but we take no responsibility for the brand used or application. All research has to be undertaken by the client and the cream applied prior to the appointment.

When can I resume physical activity including the gym? - As soon as the tattoo has dried out and the soreness subsided, usually 1-6 days.

Do you do coverups? - Yes, however you need to be realistic with your expectations. Coverups generally have to be a lot bigger and darker, black and grey is usually the worst style to try and cover anything with.

Can you tattoo over scars? - You can, as long as they are sufficiently healed, not pink and at least a year old.

Will I see my design before the day? - No tattoo artist sends out designs before the day, for many reasons including potential plagiarism. Don't worry though, through rigorous conversation we will only book you in when we have a clear idea of what you want tattooed after discussing all potential options either via message or in person.

How shall I prepare for the day itself? - Let us know if you're on any medication, eat enough food to avoid feeling faint, don't drink alcohol on the day, get plenty of sleep the night before, bring headphones if you want, wear comfortable and loose clothing that you don't mind potentially ruining, moisturise if the area is very dry for at least a week before the appointment.

How can I pay? - Please make sure you bring cash as we have no means of taking card
payments.

How old do I have to be to get a tattoo? 18, no exceptions I'm afraid.

Do you do walk-ins? Being a private studio we don't often have on-the-day space but you can try and fill out a booking form nice and early and you might get lucky!

How long is each artist's waiting list? It varies depending on how long the tattoo you want is going to take but roughly between 1-6 weeks
